COVID-19 hasn’t ended the job search, but it has made standing out amidst the crowd significantly more challenging. It’s more critical now than ever to demonstrate your unique skills and ability to adapt. This 45-minute session is designed to share practical insights and tips to help you position yourself as a standout candidate, create a winning resume and master the interview process. A Q&A with an experienced recruiter and career coach will follow the session.

About the Presenter

Christy Ciezki

Christy Ciezki is a professional human resources consultant with Western Management Consultants (WMC) in Edmonton.

She brings15+ years’ experience in human resources, career development and training design and delivery. She has experience in both the private sector and the federal government, where she worked as a career coach and trainer for eight years.

As an executive search consultant, recruiter and career coach, Ciezki has expertise in the job search process, understanding what employers are looking for and how candidates can position themselves for success.

Ciezki served as the vice president, corporate alumni relations on the University of Alberta alumni council from 2016 to 2019, and currently serves as a senator. She holds a bachelor of science (psychology) and a master’s degree in adult education from the University of Alberta.
