ASET electronic document authentication guidelines and best practices

27 Feb. 2024

Webinar

Cloud adoption and digital transformation is rapidly changing the way we work. This transformation has been accelerated by COVID-19 and work from home. However, there are legal requirements when it comes to providing or retaining original documents in electronic format under Alberta’s Electronic Transactions Act.

In this 60-minute session, you will be introduced to those legal requirements, the different e-signature solutions available on the market, and the varying levels of reliability of each. Finally, we will present the ASET digital signature for ASET-licensed professionals, which ensures the highest levels of legal reliability for professional documents.

The presentation will also discuss ASET’s guidelines and best practices for electronic document authentication of professional work, and include a short demo of the ASET digital signature.

Please note: There will be another Notarius webinar presented by Charles Tremblay on 12 March, with specific live demo training of the digital signature solution. Keep an eye out for that in ASET communications!
