Smart Cane helping visually impaired

A group of NAIT students have been recognized for coming up with a new piece of technology that aims to help the visually impaired. What they’ve developed is called a Smart Cane. It’s an electronic version of the traditional white cane. Former NAIT team member Nathaniel Painchaud is featured.
