Lethbridge resident wins ASET Capstone Project of the Year Award

Imagine being able to use internet while being off the grid, but the catch is the internet is powered by solar power and battery energy storage. Jacob Maxwell along with former NAIT alternative energy technology students and wireless systems engineering technology students strategically planned out and tested their concept for about eight months. Seven finalist teams then went head-to-head competing for the award all while representing some of the best in Alberta from some of the top technology students in the province.
