BC student honoured for work in renewable energy
A BC man who is studying at an Alberta post-secondary institution is being honoured in a big way for his important work in renewable energy. Tyler Podgorenko, a student at Red Deer Polytechnic, is one of the winners of the Capstone Project of the Year Award. It’s in recognition of his contributions to modernize the age-old ram pump device so it not only moves water to higher elevations but also harnesses the water flow as a power source.
