Former Lethbridge College students receive provincial recognition

A team of former Lethbridge College students have been chosen as finalists for the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET) Capstone Project of the Year Award. Civil engineering technology students Amy Gregorchuk, Liudmyla Wagner and Daniel Mitchell finished their end of term program last year by repurposing old rubber tires as asphalt.

Lethbridge College graduates recognized for green version of highway asphalt

Three former Lethbridge College students are being considered for a provincial award for their innovative idea to turn old tires into asphalt. Civil Engineering technology graduates Amy Gregorchuk, Liudmyla Wagner and Daniel Mitchell are finalists for the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta’s (ASET) Capstone Project of the Year.
