Local engineering technologist named finalist for Capstone Award
A green alternative to asphalt has paved the way to provincial honour for former Lethbridge College students, including one local engineering technologist. A former team of Lethbridge College students has found a way to take old rubber tires from the landfills back onto the roads in the form of asphalt. The project gained traction at the provincial level and the group has been named a finalist for the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta's (ASET) Capstone Project of the Year Award.
