Finding a greener solution for the future of batteries

In the pursuit of a sustainable future away from fossil fuels, batteries are a big roadblock. Lithium-ion powers our phones, our cars, even things in space. And they are powered by cobalt, a chemical element that needs to be extracted with a big impact on the environment. But, a team of former SAIT students has found a greener solution. Norman Lee is a member of that team and has been nominated for a provincial award by the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET).
