Former NAIT students develop smart kiosk for COVID-19 health assessments

Some former NAIT students have come up with a high-tech solution for encouraging public health measures. The COVIDIAN kiosk can take someone’s temperature, ask them to clean their hands, and store information for contact tracing. Plus, if someone tries to bypass it, the motion sensor triggers an alarm. The inventors, former biomedical engineering technology students, are now finalists for a provincial award for their school project.
