St. Patrick’s graduate earns Albertan honour

A Fort William First Nation resident and St. Patrick High School graduate Kaylib Tremblay has received a provincial honour in Alberta. Tremblay and her former teammate received their award nomination for researching different ways to filter microplastics from seawater. She was part of an all-women team of SAIT chemical laboratory technology students nominated for the prestigious 2023 Capstone Project of the Year Award, which is given out annually by the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta.
